Car Wreck on W Eldorado and N. Church St in Decatur, IL

Looks to have been a two car wreck on W Eldorado and N. Church streets in Decatur, IL on May 17th, 2011

Unknown at this time how it happen, but I do know that one person was taken by ambulance to the local hospital.

If and when I find out more information I will update here.

Crime of the Week in Macon County and Decatur, Illinois 5-2-11

NEWS RELEASE 5-2-11

The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week. 

On April 29th officers were detailed to an address located in the 2300 block of Baker Lane. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated that his residence had been burglarized. Officers checked the outside of the residence and observed a door leading into the attached garage had been forced opened. Next, the suspect or suspects forced opened a door that lead into the residence allowing entry to be made inside the home. Stolen from the residence was a Browning, 12 gauge shotgun, a Colt .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and several rounds of ammunition. 

At this time it is unknown whom the suspect or suspects are that were involved in this incident. We need your help in solving this crime.
